Funeral Information

Funeral Mass for Angus will be Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11 am at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, of the Holy Apostles Parish.Burial will follow in the SSPP Church Cemetery. Visitation for Angus will be Friday, from 2-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Saturday will be at the church, beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11 am. He is survived by his children: Rosaline (Peter) Vitale of Clinton Township, Rochelle (Gene) Vogel of Minden City, Randy (Betsy) Booms of Jenison, Bradley (Mary) Booms of Harbor Beach, Brian (Kelly) Booms of Harbor Beach, 12 grandchildren: Nick Vitale and Sarah (Julian) Santana, Kayla (Nick) Stone, Melissa (Ryan) Bischer, Jesse (Maddie) Vogel, Alisha and Collin Booms, Arika and Andrea Booms, Mason (Ashley) Booms, Molly (Levi) Booms, Emily (Adam) Booms-Lewis, 3 great grandchildren: Chloe and Claire Bischer, John Edward Booms, sisters: Eleanor Woolridge of Eastpointe, Irene (Richard) Lemanski of Harbor Beach, sister-in-law Bertha Booms of Harbor Beach, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Theresa, wife, Judy Booms, and siblings: Melvin (Esther) Booms, Eugene Booms, Vincent Booms, Ralph Booms, Beatrice (Bill) Bishop, Gladys (Ira) Wrubel, Gertrude (Ty) Salowitz, Annabell (Bernard) Wruble, Marie (Don) Lange and brother-in-law Clarence Woolridge.

Biography

Angus J. Booms, age 83 of Harbor Beach, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital - Macomb. He was born on October 11, 1940, in Harbor Beach to the late Frank and Theresa (Tenbusch) Booms. He and Judy Messing were united in marriage on August 24, 1963 in Ruth. She preceded him in death on July 31, 2016. Angus was a farmer all his life. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, and the Knights of Columbus Ruth Council.
