Funeral Information

Funeral Mass for Julie will be on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 11:30 am at the Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. Kevin Wojciechowski officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Falls Cemetery. Visitation for Julie will be on Sunday, from 2-8pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Monday, will be at the church, beginning at 10 am until time of services at 11:30 am.

She is survived by her daughter Cathy (Mark) Essenmacher of Howard, Ohio, 6 grandchildren: Jason, Derek, Jenny, Amber, Jacob, Cody, several great grandchildren, and her brother Edward Latozas of St. Clair Shores. Julie was preceded in death by her parents, Anthony and Augustine, her husband Gordon, daughter and son-in-law, Susan (Gerald) Booms, son James Morrison, great grandson Mason Booms, and several brothers and sisters.

Biography

Julie J. Morrison, age 90 of Howard, Ohio, formerly of Harbor Beach, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at Brookdale of Mt. Vernon, Ohio. She was born on June 7, 1934 in Pontiac, Michigan, to the late Anthony and Julia Latozas. She and Gordon Morrison were united in marriage on May 29, 1958 in Pontiac. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1992. Julie was an active member of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, and the Red Hat Ladies, she always enjoyed being with her friends and family.
