A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Kaufman Funeral Home in Bad Axe. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 11:00 am until the service time at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.kaufmanfuneralhome.com The family is asking for no flowers. Donations can be made to a charitable organization in Tom's name.

Family of the Deceased

Tom is survived by his wife Patty Shepherd of Bad Axe, stepson Chris Talaski (Jennifer), grand-daughters Laney, Renee and Veronica. He was preceded in death by John Walter and Clara (Moran) Shepherd.

Biography

Thomas Shepherd, age 69, of Bad Axe, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at his home. He was born on September 5, 1955 in Bad Axe, son of the late John Walter and Clara (Moran) Shepherd. He married Patricia Bard on November 4th, 1989. Tom had worked for Huron Tool and Engineering retiring from his role there in 1993. Tom then pursued his passion of rebuilding classic automobiles. Tom fully retired in 2019 when he and Patty moved to Florida until moving back to Michigan this spring. Tom enjoyed spending time with family, especially his Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
