Charles is survived by his children; Christopher (Kathy) Springer, Garrett (Rita) Springer, Donald (Patti) Springer, Sheryl Springer, Jamie Springer. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Jennifer, Victoria, Jonathan, Donald, Ethan Michael, Sierra, Jeremy Jr., Nicole & Robert, cousins; Kathleen, Mary, Colleen, Alice and Mike. Charles is preceded in death by his spouse Bonnie Jean Springer, his son, Jason Springer, his granddaughter Alexis, and grandson Johnathan.

Biography

Charles Edwin Springer, 84 years old of Bay Port passed away on Monday December 23, 2024, at Courtney Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation. Charles was born in Detroit Michigan on January 3rd, 1940 to the late Edgar and Irene Springer. Charles’s hobbies included: being a bowling league member, love of animals, enjoying woodworking and stamp and coin collecting. Charles had a huge passion for researching family genealogy. He had a few favorite sports teams; The Lions, The Tigers, Red Wings and Pistons. He loved and enjoyed snacking on; Better Made Potato Chips, Coca-Cola, and fish and chips. Charles was a gifted tax accountant and owned a successful cleaning business. He loved Michigan movies and food, loved Mackinac Island and travel adventures. Charles was a great conservationist and enjoyed people’s ideas of life. Charles had a strong faith in God and looked forward to his life after death and absolutely loved all of his children and grandchildren and the love of his life Bonnie Jean, they are reunited once again.
