He is also survived by his loving sisters, Irene McIntosh & Anna Mae Agonese; sister-in-law, Veronica (Floyd) Grocholski; brothers-in-law, Jack Wisneski, Jim (Peg) Wisneski, Bill (Mary) Wisneski, and Fred (Chris) Wisneski. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol; his parents; and in-laws, Walter and Lottie (Baranski) Wisneski; siblings, Leona (Henry) Elliott, Gertrude (Thomas) Ignash, Francis (Theresa) Ahearn, Larry (Lillian) Ahearn, and Bill (Alva) Ahearn; sister-in-law, Dawn Wisneski; brothers-in-law, Dick Agonese and Gene McIntosh.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerald Edward Ahearn of Kinde who departed his life on October 1, 2025 at the age of 92 with his daughters by his side. Born on August 31, 1933 to James and Emma (Weise) Ahearn, he was a beloved husband to Carol (Wisneski) Ahearn; loving father to Mary Ellen (Frank) Kincade, Pam (Phil) Kinsler, and Christopher G. Ahearn; grandfather to Matthew (Amanda) Kincade, Melissa (Reid) Turner, Nick (Kylie) Kinsler, Zach (Paula) Kinsler, and Nathan (Aahbia) Kinsler; great-grandfather to Mallory-Parker-Harrison Kincade, Lucas-Zoey Kinsler, and Yoni-Nathan Jr. Kinsler. Gerald touched the lives of many through his work as a School Bus driver and a farmer. He loved watching the Detroit Tigers, Pistons, and Lions. He was a member of St. Mary’s of Czestochowa church. He was an Army Veteran having proudly served in Germany. Gerald’s legacy of love, laughter and kindness will live on in all who had the pleasure of knowing him. As we bid farewell to Gerald, we celebrate a life well-lived, a legacy of love, and the countless memories he has gifted us. His was a life that exemplified the beauty of simplicity, the strength of character, and the power of a kind word. He will be missed by many family and friends.
