Steven is survived by his son Zachary, his bothers Gary and David, his sisters Kathryn and Karol (Bill) and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Jean Kiehl, and nephew Deryk.

Biography

Steven Robert Kiehl, age 60, formerly of Bad Axe, passed away after a long battle with diabetes on Friday, October 10, 2025. Steven was born August 11, 1965 in Harbor Beach, son of the late Robert and Jean Kiehl. From a young age Steven learned about cars from his dad and spent many hours working alongside him. He was known for his kind heart, an excellent sense of humor, a vivid imagination and a love for story telling. Steven also enjoyed music, whether attending concerts or creatively adapting song lyrics, especially Christmas songs. He enjoyed outdoor activities including cutting wood, shooting skeet and camping. Time spent with family and his sons held a special place in his heart.
