Arlene is survived by her brothers, Darrel (Linda), Eugene (Mary) and Randy (Shari). Sister-in-law Penny Guigar, brother-in-law Chuck Preston. Her step-children, Shelly of Arizona, Steven of Arizona and Pam (Randy) of Arizona, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Margaret Guigar. Siblings, Virginia (Don) Widdows, Norman Guigar, Betty (Chuck) Preston and Arthur Guigar.
Arlene E. Barber, age 83 of Bad Axe, formerly of Marine City, passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025. Arlene was born January 28, 1943 in Austin Township, daughter of the late William and Margaret Guigar. She married Harold F. Barber and they lived in Marine City until he passed away last year. Arlene graduated from Ubly High School and went on to be a nurse in Port Huron for years. She and Harry owned a party store for many years in Algonac until they retired. She enjoyed golfing, gardening, softball, playing cards and visiting with family and friends. She also enjoyed traveling.
