Funeral services for Margaret will be held on Saturday December 20, 2025 at Fraser Presbyterian Church, 3006 Huron Line Rd. Cass City Michigan 48726, at 2:00PM with Rev. Christina L. Jensen officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday December 20, 2025 at Fraser Presbyterian Church from 10:00AM to 2:00PM. Memorials may be offered to Fraser Presbyterian Church. Margaret is survived by her sisters: Elizabeth “Liz” Leitch, Carol (Steve) Shamka, and Kristina (Michael Schmidt)Leitch. Nieces: Heather (Kevin Dubs) Shamka and Robyn (Brian) Toner. Great nieces: Daphne Shamka-Dubs; Ellie, Brooklyn, and Maddy Toner and Great nephews, Emmett, Clark, and Brody Toner. Margaret was preceded in death by; her parents Murdock & Letta Leitch, her sister Kathaleen Nichol, one brother Malcolm Leitch, her grandparents Dougald and Parthenia (Smith) Leitch, Roy and Eva (Leitch) Harder.

Biography

Margaret Louise Leitch, 66 years old of Ubly, passed away with her family by her side December 17, 2025 following a courageous battle with cancer. Margaret is the daughter of the late Murdock and Letta (Harder) Leitch. Margaret was best known for her deep love of family, doting on her nieces and later their children, sharing her sewing creations, enjoying camping trips and adding stamps to her passport. Margaret was a loving baker who shared her baked goods with friends, neighbors and her church family. She was always there for those she loved, faithfully putting family first and never missing a single school activity, program, or competition. Her presence was a constant source of love, encouragement, and support. Margaret was very active as a member of Fraser Presbyterian Church.
