Dennis is survived by his wife of almost fifty years Vicky (Franzel) Walling, Daughters Kelly (Chris Wood) Walling and Krystal Walling all of Argyle. Grandkids Melissa (Chad) Wood of Swartz Creek, Alaina (Matt) Fetterhoff, Jarrett Phillips, Jonnie Fetterhoff and Chandra Wood all of Argyle.Siblings Deb (Jim) Sopczynski of Deckervillle, Micheal Walling of Ohio, Sandy (Brian) Petts of Battle Creek, Don Walling of Florida and Sally Walling of Clinton Township.Step Siblings Vern (Judy) Hole, Sue (Ed) Hole, Vince (Diane) Hole and Jan (Rick) Clark. Aunts Judy Harter and Joann Stacer both of Deckerville. Uncle Elmer Peruski of Palms.Many cousins, nieces and nephews. Dennis was preceded in death by his mother Irene (Peruski) Walling, his father Larry Walling, stepmother Connie Walling, great-grandparents Elmer and Isabell Peruski, grandparents Scott and Marge Walling, brother in-law Andy Fagan and sister in-law Rita Walling.
Dennis Scott Walling, 67 of Argyle passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife, daughters, son in law and grandkids on December 22, 2025. Dennis was born March 24, 1958 in Deckerville to Larry and Irene (Peruski) Walling. He graduated from Deckerville High School in 1976. He married his high school sweetheart Vicky Franzel July 17, 1976 then served four years in the U.S Navy where he learned the trade as a CNC lathe machinist. He was an excellent machinist and loved doing it. After the military he worked at Axley Tool & Bushing in Bad Axe, Moore Industries in Elkton, Die Form in Deckerville then Nexteer in Saginaw. He retired from Nexteer after he lost feeling in his arms due to his cancer surgery in February 2010. Dennis enjoyed riding his Harley, playing Euchre, camping/fishing, gardening, canning and being with his family and friends. His grandkids were his pride and joy.
