Judith (Judy) Ann Willett, 79, passed from this life into the glorious presence of Jesus on Saturday, January 10, 2026 surrounded by her family. Judy was born September 4, 1946 in Sandusky, Ohio. Throughout Judy’s childhood she lived in several states as her daddy pastored in Ohio, Missouri, Indiana and Kentucky. While living in Cadillac, MI she met the love of her life, Jim, when he came to minister at her daddy’s church. Judy and Jim were married on February 28, 1965 when Judy was 18. Shortly after getting married, Judy and Jim took a pastorate position in Carsonville, MI. As their family began to grow, they felt God leading them to Bad Axe, MI. Together they pioneered and faithfully pastored the church Faith Gospel Tabernacle, now known as Faithway, for 27 ½ years before becoming full time evangelists for 23 years. Over the years, Judy became a sought after speaker for women’s conferences; she hosted a Sunday evening radio program with her daughter, Jamey; served as principal of the Thumb Christian Academy started by Faith Gospel Tabernacle; recorded 3 CD’s and wrote 2 books. She was a wonderful decorator/crafter, enjoyed traveling, loved to sing and preach, was a student of God’s Word, and couldn’t wait to share her latest joke. We all loved hearing her laugh at her own joke before she ever reached the punchline. Over the last several years, Judy’s greatest pleasure has been to spend time with her children and grandchildren; however, there’s no one on earth that Judy loved more than her sweetheart (boyfriend as she called him), Jim. Upon his home going almost 7 years ago there has been a loneliness and longing to see him again. Although we will miss her GREATLY, we celebrate with her as she is now in the presence of Jesus and reunited with her boyfriend.
