Biography

Vita “Vicky” Crisman, age 80, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2026. Born on May 12, 1945, in Detroit, Michigan, Vicky dedicated her life to creating a warm, loving, and nurturing home for her husband and three children. A devoted homemaker and caregiver, she found her greatest purpose in caring for her family and ensuring that everyone around her felt welcomed, fed, and loved. Vicky’s greatest joy came from spending time with her family, both in the city and “up north,” making memories that will be cherished for generations. She had a deep love for cooking and was especially known for her chocolate and blueberry cake, though her lasagna earned her the highest praise. Her kitchen was the heart of her home a place of comfort, laughter, and connection. She also enjoyed quilting, creating beautiful pieces that reflected her patience, creativity, and love. When relaxing, she could often be found shopping with QVC and HSN, a pastime that brought her simple joy. Vicky adored her pets, and her most recent and constant companion was her beloved Gunner.
