Funeral Services for Shana will be 11 am, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, with Fr. Kevin Wojciechowski officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation for Shana will be on Friday, from 2-8pm at the funeral home. Visitation on Saturday will begin at 10 am until time of services at 11 am. The family would like to send a special thank you, to the Harbor Beach Police Department and all the Law Enforcement officials that assisted the family at this time.

Shana is survived by her children: Clayton Toner, Emma Toner, her mother: Kimberly (Steven) Thoms, her father: Robert Umbreit, Siblings: Eric (Janet) Umbreit, Nicole (Casey) Sadro, Robby (Christina) Umbreit, Justan Umbreit, her twin brother: Shane Umbreit, Bobbie Jo (Paul) Cutcher, Kurtis (Rachel) Trigger, Sara (Nick) Lincoln, Devin (Anna) Thoms, Donovan Thoms, the father of her two children, who she remained good friends with, Ryan Toner, his parents: Barb & Richard Toner, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Shana was preceded in death by her grandparents: Robert and Mary Umbreit, Ray & Liz Booms, Fred Wisenbaugh, her aunts: Ronda Pawlowski, Beth Ann Cortez, Janie Clink, Sherry Kramer, uncles: Louie Reid, Barry Reid and Great Grandparents: Louis & Margaret Reid.

Biography

Shana M. Umbreit, age 35 of Harbor Beach, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026. She was born on July 27, 1990 in Bad Axe, to Kimberly Thoms and Robert Umbreit. Shana worked at the Harbor Beach Subway as an Sandwich Artist for many years, and knew everyone. She was kind hearted, thoughtful and loved to be with family and friends, especially her children. She enjoyed music, going to concerts, her cousins and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
