Funeral Services for Mary Ann will be Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at 11:30 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, of the St. Hubert Parish, with Fr. Yesu Mulakaleti officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Visitation for Mary Ann will be Monday, April 6, 2026 from 2:30 pm until 8 pm at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Visitation on Tuesday, will be at the church, beginning at 10:30 am until time of services at 11:30 am. A Parish Vigil Service will take place Monday, at 7 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the OLLH School or the St. Hubert Food Pantry. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com
Mary Ann is survived by her husband of nearly 70 years: Harold Cook, children: Calvin (Sherry) Cook, Gary (Mary) Cook, Eric (Shelly) Cook, Eugene Cook, Gerald (Maureen Mausolf) Cook, Linda Cook, Dale (Cheryl) Cook, Alan Cook, 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, brother-in-law Ben Wolschleger, sisters-in-law: Deloris Dekoski, Rita Teahen, Diana Cook, Donna Wolschleger and husband Ron, brothers in-laws: Earl Cook and wife Ann, Rich Cook and wife Ronda and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Evangeline Wolschleger, Brothers-in-law: Raymond Cook, Robert Dekoski, Roy Teahen, Ronald Cook, Sister in-law: Margaret Cook.
Mary Ann Cook, age 88 of Harbor Beach, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026 at the Huron Medical Care Facility of Bad Axe, under hospice care. She was born on January 8, 1938 in Harbor Beach to the late William and Clara (Lorkowski) Mazure. Mary Ann and Harold Cook were united on May 11, 1957 at Smiths Corners. Mary Ann worked at the Bad Axe Seat Belt Factory for 9 years and sewed for Lucky’s Tents for many years. Mary Ann was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church of Rapson, and a former member of the Smiths Corners Altar Society. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, quilting and crafting very much. She also enjoyed canning, and raising chickens. Mary Ann and Harold spent 13 winters down in Florida where they enjoyed their time, and one of her biggest joys, that together, with her husband Harold, she helped prepare the Deer Hunting Breakfast for over 35 years.
