She is survived by her son, Patrick Ross, her stepdaughters Donna Osantowski ( Scott McDonald), and Barbara Peruski and a stepson, Andrew Grifka. Grand children: Colin (Penny)Ross, Dillon Ross, Stacy Osantowski , Ashley (Lee) Haener , Kelsey Peruski and many in-laws, nephews and nieces.

Biography

Mary Catherine Grifka, age 87, of Ubly, Michigan, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and the faith that guided her throughout her life. She was born on September 29, 1938, in Gagetown, Michigan to Mary Elanor and Charles Thomas Grady. She was preceded in death by her husband George. She had one brother Charles Lyman Grady who preceded her in death. Family was at the center of Mary’s life, and she held each of her loved ones close to her heart. he treasured the relationships she shared with her family and took great pride in the bonds that connected them. Mary found great joy in the simple and meaningful moments of life. She especially enjoyed playing cards, where her laughter and good nature made every gathering more enjoyable. Mary also looked forward to her birthday dinners at Frankenmuth. She was very fond of the pets in her life. More than anything else, she cherished the company of her family and friends. or a shared conversation. Mary touched the lives of many and left behind cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.
