Funeral Information

Funeral Services for Jasmine will be Monday, September 14, 2026 at 1 pm at the Bad Axe Nazarene Church. Visitation will be on Monday, at the church, beginning at 11 am until time of services at 1 pm. Burial will be at a later date at the Colfax cemetery in Bad Axe. Donations can be made to the ASPCA; Animal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, or you local animal rescue. Arrangements are being handled by the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com

Family of the Deceased

Jasmine is survived by her mother Tanya Riggs, two sisters: Amber Meldrum of Bad Axe, and Emma Riggs, of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, her grandmother Cynthia Meldrum of Bad Axe, Melissa Shields of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, several aunts uncles, cousins and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandfathers: George Meldrum and Billy Riggs.

Biography

Jasmine Rose Meldrum, age 24, formerly of Bad Axe, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2026. Jasmine was born on July 24, 2002 in Bad Axe. She was the daughter of the late Ken Meldrum and Tanya Riggs. she graduated from Lewis County High School in Vanceburg, Kentucky in 2021. She was an avid animal lover and a crafter, she was a hands on learner.
