Funeral Information

Funeral Mass for Alice will be Saturday, September 12, 2026 at 11 am at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, of the Holy Name of Mary Parish, with Fr. Kevin Wojciechowski officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Anthony's Church Cemetery. Visitation for Alice will be Saturday, September 12, 2026 at the church, beginning at 9 am until time of services at 11 am. Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach. Memories can be shared at www.RamseyFH.com

Alice is survived by her children: Mary Ann (Jim) Stockwell, JoAnn (Gene) Puvalowski, Bill (Deanna) Mausolf, Teresa (Ron) DuBois, Roy (Nancy) Mausolf, Gloria Maurer, 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Stella Susalla, her husband Jerome Mausolf, sister Nancy Messing and brother-in-law Melvin Messing.

Biography

Alice M. Mausolf, age 98 of Harbor Beach, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at Stonegate Village of Sandusky. Alice was born at her home in Detroit, on November 12, 1927 to the late Henry and Stella (Ulfig) Susalla. She and Jerome Mausolf were united in marriage on June 26, 1948. They had six children together. He preceded her in death on February 2, 2007. Alice had been the bookkeeper for the Ruth Farmers Elevator for many years. She attended church at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Helena. Alice loved sewing, making quilts for family baby showers, graduations, and bridal showers. Alice made a patriotic quilt for her son-in-law, Gene, military reunion. It went up to $500 at the auction, and other veterans tossed in more money and the total came to $800. Alice said that it wasn't worth that much, but the veterans knew the real value of it! She also enjoyed reading, doing word searches and was a fierce opponent playing rummy!
