Pat is survived by his wife, Linda; children, Amy and Carrie; siblings, Ann and Larry (Emily); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelly; his parents, Mike and Viola; brothers, Eugene and Ed; and sisters, Kathleen, Rosalie, and Marylou.

Biography

Carl Patrick Flannery, known to many as Pat, passed away on September 11, 2026, surrounded by his family, at the age of 91. Pat was born on March 26, 1935, in Tyre, Michigan, to the late Mike and Viola Flannery. He grew up in Ubly, proudly served his country in the United States Army. Following his military service, Pat devoted 30 years of hard work and loyalty to CJ Roger’s, where he was a heavy equipment operator. He was also a proud lifetime union member. On February 11, 1989 Pat married Linda Guigar. Together, they blended their families and shared many meaningful years filled with love, laughter and cherished memories. Pat was a member of St. Ignatius church. While farming was a great passion of his, he will also be remembered for his love of politics, spirited card games with family and friends, and his weekly Tuesday trips to the casino. He enjoyed hunting as well but mostly treasured the time he spent with the people he loved.
