Larry will be lovingly remembered through stories shared at the cabin, memories of adventures on the road, and jokes that will keep his family smiling. The image of Larry with Chico by his side will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of Larry's life will be held at a later date. The family extends its deepest gratitude to Larry's caregiver, Nancy. Her compassion, patience, and kindness will never be forgotten. The family also wishes to thank the thoughtful friends and neighbours who frequently checked in, stopped by for visits, and brought goodies to share. Family of the Deceased

Larry's family includes his beloved wife, Bonnie; his daughter, Debra "Debbie" Warner, and son-in-law, Anthony "Tony" Warner; and his three granddaughters, Heather Everett and her husband, Steve; Cortney Hoffman and her husband, Beau; and Amanda Monahan and her husband, Brett. He was a cherished great-grandfather to Hudson, Paxton, Estelle, Leland, Maddox, Zander, Murdock, and Malcolm, with one more great-grandbaby on the way. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Jeri Ross.

Biography

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kenneth Larry Ross, affectionately known as "Larry," on October 24, 2026. Larry was born on May 29, 1939, to the late Hannah Elizabeth (McGregor) and John Alexander Ross. As a devoted husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Larry brought laughter to those around him with his dry sense of humour and constant jokes. On June 13, 1959, Larry married Bonnie M. Pozsgay. Together, they shared 67 years building memories and a wonderful life with his beloved wife whom he called "Bonzo." He worked as a truck driver for more than 40 years, frequently taking Bonnie, and their dog, along on the road. A lifelong dog lover, Larry had several beloved dogs over the years, each named Chico. Whether traveling in his truck, spending time at the cabin, or going about his day, Larry was rarely without a Chico by his side. Larry's cabin in Pickford, Michigan held a special place in his heart. He loved hunting, fishing, and motorcycles, and had a passion for racing stock cars on the dirt track. Larry found great joy in gathering around the campfire with his extended family, sharing stories, laughter, and time together. He also enjoyed starting projects-often several at once-with another idea never far behind. His family will fondly remember his many works in progress and the jokes he cracked along the way.
