Tuscola Township is Considering Developing a Bike Path

A recreational opportunity is being mulled in Tuscola Township.

During Wednesday's 90 minute meeting of the township's board of trustees, Will Green who is with the Tuscola County Road Commission was in attendance.

The board had a lengthy discussion about working with the road commission about developing a non-motorized bike pathway along Van Cleve Road.

During that discussion, concerns about safety of such a path at the intersection of Van Cleve Road and Frankenmuth Road were raised.

No action was taken on the proposed bike path.

Also, the board approved any board member could attend the Michigan Township Association 2026 conference in April 2025.
