A Sanilac Tech Teach Earns a Michigan Farm Bureau Award

A Sanilac County agricultural teacher won a Michigan Farm Bureau award.

Jasmine McNary won the Michigan Farm Bureau's 2025 Young Agriculture Employee Award.

McNary and her high school students use 10 acres of land to manage cows and ewes for fair projects for students' hands-on learning. She balances that along with other class projects.

Each year Michigan Farm Bureau has awards for several agricultural related categories. One of those categories is young farmers for those who are ages 18 to 35.

McNary is an instructor at the Sanilac Career Center.

She is also Sanilac County's Farm Bureau's Young Farmer co-chair.
