Tuscola Commissioners to do Reorganization on Monday

With the start of a new year on the horizon, county commissioners conduct a reorganizational meeting.

Tuscola County Commissioners will conduct their annual reorganizational meeting at 10 a.m., on Monday, Dec. 22.

"The commissioners do not need to take the oath of office as they are in their current terms which are four years now," explained Tuscola County Clerk Jodi Fetting, noting the other organizational procedures remain the same.

As part of the board's reorganization, commissioners select a chair and vice chair, and set the meeting schedule for the coming year.

They could also do assignments of who will serve on the various committees.
