A Grassroots Group Did a Presentation at Denmark Township Meeting

A representative for the grassroots Citizens for a Stronger Tuscola County gave a presentation on roads during the last Denmark Township Board of Trustees meeting.
The presentation outlined the six high-risk intersections in the county along with a proposed solution to make them safer.
Those intersections where a high number of accidents have happened are: Hurds Corner and Deckerville roads.
Irish and Birch Run roads.
Birch Run Road and M-15.
South Hurds Corner and East Bevans roads.
Hurds Corner Road and M-46, and Fairgrove and Vassar roads.
Information was also provided about the proposed Amish bridge the group wants to build to avoid motorized traffic on M-53.
According to the presentation, the county's road commission has not and/or refused to address those issues.
The presentation also noted there will be a powerpoint presentation on those issues at 6 p.m. at the Brentwood in Caro on Tuesday, July 21.
