Deckerville Board of Education Meeting - December 15th_ 2025

The Deckerville Community Schools Board of Education will hold its regular meeting on Monday, December 15th, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the high school library.
The meeting agenda includes routine business such as bill approvals for the general, athletic, activity, and food service funds, along with a review of November's prompt pay bills. Administrative reports will be given by Elementary Principal Aaron Sutherland, High School Principal Josh Stern, and Superintendent Matthew Connelly.
Action items on the agenda include the hiring of a new kindergarten teacher and an elementary secretary, acceptance of a varsity baseball coach's resignation, and a second reading and approval of NEOLA policy updates.
Public participation periods are scheduled per Board Bylaw 0167.3. The board will also enter closed session to address a student code of conduct violation and conduct the superintendent’s evaluation before adjourning.
