Marathon Township Updates its Electric Capacity Ordinance

As situations and regulations change, municipalities have to as well.
The Marathon Township Board of Trustees approved repealing ordinance 2020-03 - the Regulate Electrical Service
Capacity Ordinance in its entirety and replaced it with Ordinance 2025-07, Regulate Electric Service Capacity Ordinance.
A full copy of that ordinance can be viewed at the Marathon Township Hall at 4575 Pine Street, Columbiaville.
In other matters, it was noted the township accomplished several roadway projects over the last year.
There was $32,550 spent on ditching at various locations in the township.
Replacing the culverts on Howell Road, East of Washburn cost $7,200. Replacing the culverts on Piersonville Road West of North Lake Road cost $5,025.
There was $344,635 spent on paving Peters Road from the Village of Columbiaville Limits to Klam Road.
